EDUCATION IN CRISIS
We have seen the damage being done to our public education by our current Board of Education, which is dominated by extremist members, both those elected and those appointed by the County Executive. The only way to change that is to change who the elected officials are. There will be an almost complete turn over of the Board of Education as many members are choosing not to run again, or are term limited from running again. It appears as though only 2 of the 6 elected members may run again.
There are already several candidates for Board of Education who have filed. We need to start organizing a volunteer force to help those candidates that align with the Mission and Vision of Together We Will Harford County.
